There are some sessions that tug at your heart in the sweetest way, and this recent hospital session is one of them. I had the honor of documenting a beautiful family as they welcomed their baby boy into the world. With two older siblings already full of love and excitement, this day was nothing short of magical.

What made this session so unique was how the big brother and big sister showed up ready to celebrate in their own special ways. Big brother proudly brought along his film camera, eager to capture his own memories of meeting his baby brother for the very first time. I snapped a photo of him photographing, and let me tell you—it might be one of the most heartwarming images of the day. You can see the pride and joy all over his face.

Meanwhile, his little sister had her beloved baby doll in hand. She wanted to practice holding, cuddling, and caring for a baby, just like mom and dad. Watching her gently cradle her doll while sneaking peeks at her new baby brother was the perfect reminder of how siblings experience these big life changes in the most genuine ways.

And then there are the parents—two of the sweetest souls you will ever meet. Truly soulmates, they work together seamlessly, and their love is something that radiates in every photo. From their wedding day, to baby announcements, maternity sessions, newborn portraits, and family photos, I’ve had the incredible privilege of capturing their love story over the years. Seeing their family grow and being invited back into these sacred moments is a gift I will never take for granted.
