Honestly! As we were chatting, walking back to our vehicles after her maternity session was over, I literally asked her what her secret was for raising such sweet, well behaved gentlemen. These boys hadn't questioned a thing their parents asked them to do, they listened to every word I spoke, they didn't back talk, they were very loving and agreeable AND they had so much fun at our shoot they wanted to stay longer. Most of all, these two guys and their parents of course, were so eager to meet their new baby brother it was the sweetest thing listening to them talk about everything they were going to teach him. I think I was equally excited to see this family with their new addition as well.
We shot their maternity session in a field with mom wearing a blush gown. The boys had on a green t shirt and a denim button up, and dad wore a charcoal t shirt. The colors of their wardrobe flowed wonderfully, the wind was mild and present, the weather was perfect. We couldn't have asked for a better day for pictures.
When Wilder came to the studio for the first time, guess who was standing one on the right side and the other on the left side of his car seat with the biggest grin on their faces? Yep, the boys! They could not wait for me to see him.
The entire newborn shoot was a dream. Everyone was excited for their turn to hold him, even me! The image of the three boys all together absolutely melted my heart, see it posted below. I had a hard time choosing my number one favorite from this session for sure. Wilder loved laying in my bucket of blankets and furs, he was such a good baby while we posed him and passed him around.
I am so lucky to have met this precious family and been their storyteller. It was a pleasure to document their most delicate memories. I know these moments will be forever treasured by each of them.
